W Atlanta — Buckhead Reopens as Hotel Colee on Dec. 1

Lodge Colee will open up its Buckhead doors on December 1 as a member of Marriott’s Autograph Collection Resorts, in accordance to a press launch Tuesday. Lodge Colee replaces W Lodge Buckhead put up a multi-million dollar renovation that kicked off in 2019. The W manufacturer, previously of Starwood, is also a Marriott product. Lodge Colee is owned by Woodbine Growth Company and operated by Follow Hospitality.

“Travelers have faith in Autograph Assortment Motels and the practical experience they provide, specially in periods of uncertainty, and we feel there is no greater associate to produce on that guarantee than Practice,” T. Dupree Scovell, running lover and CIO of Woodbine, reported in the launch.

Andrew Alford, principal of Andrew Alford Creative and former director of structure for Graduate Lodges, was driving the hotel’s redesign. The new place “remixes” basic Southern-fashion signatures — pastel, prints, and pops of coloration — “to produce an environment that encourages friends to embrace their essence, sense their finest, and go forward and place on that statement piece.”

In the hotel’s lobby, Alford “reimagines a single of the cornerstones of Southern culture and community: the barbershop and splendor parlor…,” with elements like classic barber chairs reupholstered with styles that enhance these through the relaxation of the area. “Much far more than just a social media minute, this area pays homage to the part barbershops and splendor parlors serve as community centers,” according to the launch. “Hidden retail shelving for pop up trunk shows highlighting neighborhood makers, designers, and artists will anchor situations and activations.”

Upstairs, the hotel’s guestrooms boast style elements like open-front, mirrored-again wardrobes, window seats, and walls adorned with prints by artist, muralist, designer, and indigenous Georgian Lela Brunet. The fourth-flooring has a rooftop infinity pool and health middle. Whiskey Blue, the rooftop patio bar in the W Atlanta — Buckhead, will continue being as component of Resort Colee. Cafe Prepare dinner Corridor has shut and its replacement has not but been declared.
