Graduate Resort Visitor Killed by Stray Gunfire in Annapolis

The Annapolis Law enforcement Section is investigating a fatal taking pictures that still left a woman useless as she sat on the patio at the Graduate Resort in the 100 block of West Road.

On June 29th at 12:21 a.m. officers responded to the 100 block of West Avenue for a report of a target struggling from a gunshot wound. Officers arrived and located an grownup feminine target.  Officers and emergency professional medical companies personnel tried life-conserving actions, but the target was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim’s identity is currently being withheld pending affirmation that the extended family has been notified.

We have discovered that the target is the mom of a Midshipman at the US Naval Academy who was to report for Induction Day right now or tomorrow.
