Arrest built in stray bullet death of mom bringing son to Naval Academy

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WBAL) – Police mentioned they’ve billed a male with murdering a female who was in town to bring her son to the U.S. Naval Academy.

Michelle Cummings and her spouse ended up remaining at the graduate resort when she was killed by a stray bullet.

“I know the arrest will not convey the family members their beloved wife and mom with back, but i hope this offers them some justice,” Annapolis Law enforcement Main Ed Jackson explained.

Jackson talked to reporters on Wednesday immediately after he spoke with the partner of Cummings to express the information that this element of the circumstance has been shut.

“The Annapolis police department detectives have arrested 29-12 months-aged Angelo Harrod of Annapolis and charged him with the homicide of Michelle Cummings of Houston, Texas,” Jackson reported.

Cummings was killed by a one “errant” bullet on June 28 when sitting down on a lodge patio, in accordance to Jackson.

She was in Annapolis dropping her son Trey off at the U.S. Naval Academy.

Jackson mentioned Harrod has been charged with very first and next-diploma murder in relationship to Cummings’ dying.
