New Mauldin Courtyard by Marriott resort planned to open in the vicinity of I-385

A new Courtyard by Marriott resort will be opening quickly in Mauldin proper off of Interstate 385.

The 108-space resort is prepared to open up by late spring, said Todd Whittington, president of Touchstone Hospitality, the developer on the venture.

The Courtyard by Marriott will attribute a health heart, swimming pool, convention space and a restaurant and bar serving breakfast and dinner called The Bistro, he explained.

“We are really excited,” Whittington explained.

The home is situated on Millport Circle off East Butler Highway, adjacent to I-385. It can be also down the road from the Brookfield workplace park.

“I assume that this hotel and this exit is a wonderful escape from Woodruff Road,” he explained. “it can be an answer for any person who does not want to get caught up in that website traffic in the Woodruff Road space.”

Ideas for the lodge were announced in 2017. There have been COVID-19 linked delays, Whittington explained, also including that it takes a lengthy time to establish and create a challenge like this.
